We can offer NHS OpenAthens accounts to students who are on NHS commissioned courses and to members of staff who are employed to teach students on NHS commissioned courses.

Students are usually set up with an NHS OpenAthens account with an email sent to their University of Greenwich email address to activate their account, if they’re on the appropriate course.

NHS OpenAthens accounts are administered by Naoise Standing, Please contact the IT Service Desk if you believe you are entitled to an account but do not presently have one.

You no longer need an NHS OpenAthens account to access the BNF (British National Formulary) or BNFc apps. These are now freely available to everyone.
