Welcome to our international students

Group of students We're very proud of the fact that students from more than 140 countries choose to study at Greenwich and that over 1 in 5 of our students come from outside the United Kingdom.

International students are warmly invited to take part in any of our GREFest sessions - in fact, we have created some workshops specially for you! Just scroll down this page for more details.

GREFest will be streamed live over Microsoft Teams, so if you can't take part in person you can sign up to get involved online, wherever you are in the world. We will email you details of how to join in once you have registered for a session.

Adjusting to life in the UK

Moving to study abroad is an exciting experience but moving to a country with a different culture sometimes requires some adjustments.

Our Chaplains, Lynne and Kirsten, have many years’ experience of living and working cross-culturally. They invite you to join them for this fun, informative and interactive introduction to British culture, and offer tips and advice on how to manage the transition between your home country and the UK. This session will also include time for your questions.

Join Paul Rees and Katie Jenkins for tips and advice for international students.
We know that on top of starting uni, you'll have other challenges as an international student - travelling, getting accustomed to new cultures and settling into a new community. We want you to feel supported for the duration of your studies here in Greenwich.

Support for international students throughout the year
