Resources to help you get a job after graduation

Newspapers are a traditional place to look for jobs. You can use the library's resources to read and look through newspapers without having to buy them in print or buy access to them online.

News

The Economist is available in the library. The current issue is displayed on the new journals display unit on the ground floor and back issues are shelved in the basement under E.

You can access articles from all national and regional newspapers from Lexis Library. There is a News tab where you can search for newspaper articles. You'll need to access Lexis Library via the My Learning/Learning Support pages in the portal.

Trade / professional journals

Many industries have specialist magazines or journals. You should be able to find these online through a Google search, but some of our resources, like Business Source Premier, will give you access for free. They will often have opportunities you might not be able to find elsewhere.

Search LibrarySearch or Business Source premier to find these trade journals.

Go to our Business and Economics Resources page to find out more.

LibrarySearch

Use LibrarySearch to search for trade publications and news sources.
