Power-Up for Uni: Home

This event will ensure you are equipped with the skills to succeed at university whilst also giving you the opportunity to meet and network with other students. The day will consist of a series of talks and workshops to kick start your university experience

• The Students Union will provide information and advice about how to make the most of uni life.
• The Wellbeing Team will provide information about the support and opportunities that are available at the university and beyond.
• The Academic Support Team will provide information about how to study more effectively, good practice for writing essays & dissertations, and one-to-one tutorials for help with your assignments.
• There will also be allocated time at the end of the day to head to the student centre to complete your registration. 

Our knowledgeable and experienced staff will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Whether you are a returning or new student, there is lots of support on hand to Power-Up your university experience.

The afternoon compromises of three lightning talks, you will be able to move to different locations to hear about other important services at the university.
