Using LibrarySearch

LibrarySearch is the Library’s main search tool, allowing you to cross search many of our print and online collections in one place. Use LibrarySearch to discover books, full text journal articles, conference papers

and proceedings, reports, eBooks and some audio visual content.

LibrarySearch can also be used to identify references to peer-reviewed articles, books and other documents not currently held by the Library, but which we may be able to obtain for you through our Document Supply service.

Find the link to LibrarySearch in the dedicated LibrarySearch channel on the Library & Computing tab in the Student Portal. Alternatively, search in the box below. If you are off-campus or accessing this page on your own device via University Wi-Fi, please refer to our Using Library Search off-campus guide in the Guides for you to download section.

Where is Swetswise?

Hi! you may be here because you're looking for Swetswise - you may have come across that name in course materials or on Moodle. Swetswise was our precursor to LibrarySearch. It was the name of a website we used to search for and access our journals. The company unfortunately went bankrupt and we move to our LibrarySearch system instead.

LibrarySearch was a planned successor to Swetswise as it is a more powerful search tool than Swetswise, linking you to all our books, e-books, most of our journal content and much more.
