As a distance learner student you have access to the library's resources and services. This includes online access to library resources as well as being able to visit any of the three campus libraries in person. Online access to library resources is via the My Learning or Student page in the student portal. To access the portal go to http://portal.gre.ac.uk/.
If you live close enough to visit our libraries you will need to bring your Greenwich Gateway card to gain entry to the libraries, as well as your university username and password if you want to use the computer labs in the libraries. You are entitled to borrow up to 40 items.
Distance learners students can request postal loans using the form in this link www.gre.ac.uk/it-and-library/forms/library/postal-loan-form. If you are a distance learner you can use the form to request books to be sent to you, or scans of book chapters and/or print journal articles.
If you have any queries, please email library@gre.ac.uk. Students must be resident in the UK or BFPO to have books posted out to them.
As well as our services outlined above you also have access to other university libraries through the nationwide library access scheme SCONUL Access. Registering with this scheme allows you to borrow a limited number of books from libraries in the scheme, which may be closer to where you live or work, or simply use them as a place to study. You apply online via the SCONUL Access web site.
