Stockwell Street Library has become a cashless building this year.
Any top-ups that need to be made on library accounts must be done online.
Over the next few months, the layout of the Basement Group Study Area will be changing.
The library will be providing an open plan study area that is better suited to group work, with more space to use the new laptops available and to work on group assignments such as posters and presentations.
The walkways will be widened, helping to improve the area's accessibility.
The University Library Archives will also have a newly installed display area.
Whilst celebrating the past and present of Stockwell Street Library, it's also important to look towards the developments that can be made in the future.
A key feature of the library's design is for it to be able to evolve with the ever changing face of University education, so what can be expected in the next few years?
A big focus for the coming year at Stockwell Street Library is improving the facilities available to our students to use whilst they are studying with us at the University of Greenwich. Many of the new projects being completed in the very near future are aimed at improving the technology available in the library.
