Welcome to our international students

Group of students We're very proud of the fact that students from more than 140 countries choose to study at Greenwich and that over 1 in 5 of our students come from outside the United Kingdom.

International students are warmly invited to take part in any of our GREFest Winter sessions - in fact, we have created some workshops specially for you! Just scroll down this page for more details.

GREFest will be streamed live over Microsoft Teams, so if you can't take part in person you can sign up to get involved online, wherever you are in the world. We will email you details of how to join in once you have registered for a session.

Support for international students throughout the year

Help and advice for international students doesn't stop at GREFest; we run a wide range of academic support workshops throughout the year. Look out for our Global English sessions, which we'll be advertising soon!

International students' meet-up and question & answer session

We know that, on top of starting uni, you'll have other challenges as an international student - travelling, getting accustomed to new cultures and settling into a new community. We want you to feel supported for the duration of your studies here in Greenwich.

Get involved with your Student's Union!

There are many international societies for students, which are a great place to meet new friends. Find out about the Greenwich Students' Union, opportunities for students and student-led groups.

The presentation will cover all things GSU, student opportunities and student led groups as well as how to get involved with your GSU, university and wider community. An opportunity to learn, ask questions and be the voice of your GSU.
