Hello, I'm Mina and my role is to provide library support to researchers (student and staff) across the University. I am based at Avery Hill but work across all campuses.
Note: If you are postgraduate or undergraduate taught student, please book an appointment with your subject librarian as I only look after the researchers.
I can help you with variety of topics including but not limited to:
• Developing a search strategy
• Designing a search string
• Identifying relevant databases and platforms
• Identifying and locating grey literature
• Advanced search techniques
• Translating a search string from one platform to another
• Guidance on documenting the search process (PRISMA flow diagram)
• Use of reference management software
Online appointments: I will send you a link to meet me on Microsoft Teams.
On-campus appointments: Based on your campus location, I will meet you at the Welcome desk in Avery Hill Library, Drill Hall Library, or Stockwell Street Library.
If you find that you can no longer attend your appointment with me, please let me know. You can cancel your appointment, right up until the last minute, using the Appointment Scheduler or by emailing me at m.stoynova@greenwich.ac.uk
Please send your search strategy or research proposal prior to our appointment via email.
I look forward to meeting you!
Mina
