Public transport

Nearest train stations: Falconwood, New Eltham. Off street car parking heavily used during day in term, street parking possible. 15-20 minutes walk from either station.

Special needs access

The Library and its services are accessible to special needs users. A retrieval service is offered where access to resources proves difficult. This applies particularly to those with mobility problems or who are visually impaired. Designated toilet facilities are also provided within the Library.

Limited car parking is available for disabled users.

By Bus

Bus timetables are available from Medway Council and Arriva websites.

The University of Greenwich and the University of Kent also run inter-campus bus services.

By Train

Chatham and Gillingham stations are the closest to the library.

By Car

There is a permit-only parking system on campus, so please use public transport wherever possible. If you do need to travel by car, the postcode for satnav is ME4 4TB.

Nearest train station: Greenwich. Nearest DLR station: Cutty Sark. Numerous Bus services. No parking on campus, other parking very limited in area.

Other facilities include:

  • 2 lifts giving access to all floors of the Library;
  • Toilets for disabled students on each floor;
  • A retrieval service where access is difficult, particularly for those with mobility problems or who are partially sighted;

Online appointments can be made with staff in all subject areas.

Academic Skills Tutors can help you with academic writing, structuring your work, and thinking critically. We work across the campuses with students from every discipline. Make an appointment with any tutor, regardless of your subject. 

If the staff member or team that you wish to book with does not have appointment dates available, you can sign up for one of our online workshops or drop-in sessions.
