General Library Guide: Home

Your guide to our Libraries and the services we provide

Welcome to your Library!

The University Library and its staff are here to support your studies, providing you with access to information and the skills to make the most of it. Your University Libraries offer much more than books. They offer places to study and access to a range of support services. You can also access a wide range of e-books and electronic resources online, from the comfort of your own room.

Library support online works in a variety of different ways:

Tutorials and workshops

Guides and learning resources

Further online support is available via guides and videos.

  • The 'Finding Online Resources'  LibGuide will tell you more about the using the Library resource online, and how to make the most of them.
  • If you want to know how you are getting on, iPROGRESS is a collection of learning resources aimed at helping you use information effectively and ethically in your academic work.  There is also the Palgrave Skills4Study Campus online learning resource. It's accessed via Moodle.

If you are on campus and would like to find out more about borrowing entitlements, please use the Borrow', Return' and Reserve' links above.

Please read our information about using the library services safely before visiting us on campus.
