  • Click on the ‘SCONUL Access’ tab or the ‘Get Access’ link.
  • Complete the online form, selecting the institution you wish to visit.
  • Submit your application.

You will receive an email confirming your application is pending. Applications are approved provided there are no outstanding issues with your University of Greenwich library account (e.g. overdue items or fines).

Once approved, you will receive a confirmation email with your registration details and membership expiry date.

Step Two: Register at a participating library

To find libraries that support your user category, begin by completing the first part of the Sconul Access application form. You can also view an A–Z list of participating institutions.

When registering at a participating library, please bring:

  • Your SCONUL Access confirmation email
  • Your University of Greenwich student ID card

Before visiting, check the SCONUL Access information page for your chosen library. Procedures vary between institutions. For example:

  • Some may require a passport-sized photograph
  • Some only register users during office hours
  • Some restrict access during exam periods

Wi-Fi Access

Most participating libraries offer Wi-Fi via the eduroam network. Ensure your device is set up for eduroam before your visit.

Important Information

Your University of Greenwich library account will be blocked if any items become overdue. While we automatically renew items where possible, you must return any that are reserved by another user. You will receive an email notification if this occurs.
