Whether you consider yourself an expert in technology or a digital newbie, it's important to think about the digital skills you already have and the new skills you'd like to learn. You should consider the digital elements that are important for your course or chosen career too.
The University of Greenwich has introduced the JISC Discovery Tool, a new digital capabilities diagnostic tool to help you think about your own digital capabilities; reflect on strengths, and identify areas for development.
The Discovery Tool provides a self assessment in which you will answer a series of reflective questions that relate to different areas of digital capability. After you’ve completed the assessment, you will get a personalised evaluation report with tailored feedback, next steps and links to quality resources, tailored to your digital development needs. With the suggested next steps and resources you will be able to focus on the areas of digital capability in need of further development.
Get started by creating your personalised report!
University of Greenwich staff and students can access this by logging onto the Jisc Discovery Tool (use your University username and password to log in).
Unfortunately staff and students at our partner institutions do not have access to the tool due to licensing restrictions.
