JISC describes digital capabilities as the skills and attitudes which equip someone to live, learn and work in a digital society.

Developing digital capabilities and the confidence to adapt to emerging technologies will help you navigate through digital learning at university. 

Successful navigation through professional life also requires strong digital capabilities and confidence. With many businesses taking the decisions to adopt online, or hybrid working practices, employers are increasingly looking at the digital capabilities applicants and employees have.
