Education

This is a guide to information resources for the School of Education

Welcome

This is the LibGuide for students from the School of Education; here you will find information on finding and using research resources for your subject area. You'll also find guidance on referencing and academic support.

My name is Rachael Hartiss and I am the Subject Librarian for the School of Education. You can contact me by email at r.hartiss@gre.ac.uk or over Teams. You can also book an appointment with me using the 'Schedule Appointment' button on this page.

Workshops and Drop-Ins

Academic and Digital Skills Team Workshops

We have weekly drop-in help sessions and scheduled workshops across all three campuses that you are welcome to attend. Take a look at our workshops on offer and book in for a session today.

Workshops are delivered by your friendly Academic Support Librarians, Academic Skills Tutors, Royal Literary Fellows and the Maths and Statistics Help Team

Booking 1-1s

Academic Services Librarians can help you with database searches, finding information, using online resources and the mechanics of referencing. Please make an appointment with the Librarian attached to your School.

Academic Skills Tutors can help you with academic writing, structuring your work, and thinking critically. We work across the campuses with students from every discipline. Make an appointment with any tutor, regardless of your subject.

Maths and Statistics help Tutors - During your University studies you are likely to be working with numbers and data. Talk to a tutor about the maths and stats you're working on.

Digital Champions can provide bespoke help for using digital tools or issues with online learning.

You can book appointments up to two weeks in advance. If you do not see any available appointments then please check back in a few days. Or you can contact the Academic Support Team on ils-ast@gre.ac.uk.
