Join SCONUL Access

Step One: Join Sconul Access

To join the scheme, please register online at the Sconul Access website

Click on the 'Sconul Access' tab or on the 'Get Access' link and complete the form online including selecting the institution you wish to visit and click 'submit'.  You will receive an email receipt showing your application as 'pending'.

Applications are approved subject to you not having any overdue books or any other issues with your library account. Once your application is approved, you will receive an email confirmation containing your registration details and your membership expiry date. 

Step Two: Register at a participating library

You  can see an A to Z of participating libraries that support your user category.by completing the first part of the Sconul Access application form.   

You will need your Sconul Access confirmation email and University of Greenwich student ID card to register at each library.

Please check the Sconul Access webpage of your chosen library for procedures as these can vary from one institution to another.For example, some libraries may require a passport photograph, some are only able to register new users during office hours, and some restrict access to their own students during the busy exam periods.

Access to Wi-Fi is available via the eduroam network at participating institutions. 

Please note: Your library account will be blocked if any items on your account go overdue. We automatically renew all items whenever possible. However if one of the items on your account is reserved, you will need to bring it back, we will email you when this is the case.
