You can use LSEG Workspace for 48 hours after which your license expires. Licenses expire at midnight UK time. Please take this into account if you are working in a different time zone.
After 48 hours when your license expires, you may sign up again to get further access.
Alternatively, access registration instructions in a video.
If you have downloaded the desktop application of Workspace, you have the option to also use DataStream, LSEG's historical financial database where you can access time series data and use the Excel add in.
Requesting use of DataStream may delay access to Workspace for up to 6 hours.
If you receive an email that says: "Unfortunately, the self-registration request you submitted has failed" this is because all of the University's licences are in use.
Try to register again the following day (after midnight) to gain access to licenses that have become available again.
LSEG Workspace is a financial data and analytics platform that delivers real-time market information, current and historical financial and company data, economic indicators and ESG metrics.
Our licenses include the option to also use Datastream, LSEG's historical financial database which provides time series data.
Your licence to access Workspace will last for 2 days. After your license expires, you may sign up again to get further access.
