Universities and higher education are increasingly focused on helping students secure quality jobs after graduation and stand out in a global economy. LinkedIn Learning, along with providing on-demand online learning of in-demand skills, allows students to grow their personal brand on the world's largest professional network.
Each week we add 60+ collaborative online learning courses to our 16,000+ course library, all taught by industry-expert instructors. Content is available for English, Spanish, German, French, Japanese, Mandarin, and Portuguese-speaking learners.
We vet every instructor to ensure they have credible, real-world experience in the subjects they’ll be teaching. That way, participants are learning relevant topics from someone they can trust, and new skills can be applied right away. Personalized content that matches learners' skill gaps and professional goals. Recommended courses based on people’s roles, learning activity, skills, and more.
LinkedIn Learning integrates with content partners and learning management systems. We currently partner with several providers and will be adding others soon.

Charlton Athletic Football Club

Charlton Athletic is an organisation with whom the University has successfully partnered for many years. The success is down to our joint belief in the power of sport to change lives, alongside the work of Charlton Athletic Community Trust. Through our partnership we are able to share expertise and facilities in addition to giving students employment and research opportunities and enhancing the staff and student experience.

In creating this partnership, we have placed our students and staff at the heart of everything we do. Each year we host a celebration event at one of Charlton Athletic’s home games bringing students and staff together to see first-hand what the partnership does and, of course, to watch a game. Throughout the academic year we make a number of free tickets available for every home game and also provide exclusive Charlton Athletic sponsorship to Greenwich Student Unions’ sports teams.
Enhancing the student experience and giving all students the opportunity to engage in what the partnership has to offer is key to our success. The University and Community Trust work in tandem to maximise the positive impact that sport and football, in particular, can have on a community.

Creating high quality employment opportunities for our students is a top priority for the University. We work in partnership with Charlton Athletic Football Club and their community trust to ensure there is a rich pool of employment and work experience opportunities for our students. This, in turn, strengthens their chance of securing fulfilling graduate-level employment upon graduation. Some of the many opportunities we offer include:

  • sports science and football coaching internships
  • marketing placements
  • finance placements
  • IT roles, and graphic design placements
  • Match day filming opportunities
  • Voluntary work
  • Casual paid roles.
