PLEASE DO NOT INDIVIDUALLY TURN OFF SCREENS OR PIECES OF KIT. PLEASE USE THE "SHUTDOWN" BUTTON ON THE CONTROL PANEL.

Turning the system on:

On this type of button panel, if the system is turned off, the “Off” button will be highlighted. To turn the system on, you will need to press the “On” button and wait until the start-up sequence has finished – the “On” button will flash while the system starts up. Once the sequence has completed, the “On” button will be solid. You will then need to select your desired source – for example, for the room PC (on which you can log in with your Portal login) you will need to press the “PC” button – this will then turn solid to show this is the selected source.

Turning the system off:

To turn the system off, simply press the “Off” button – this will kickstart the shutdown sequence during which the button will be flashing. Once the sequence has completed, the “Off” button will turn solid. Please ensure you turn the system off at the end of your session (unless the following session’s lecturer is already in the room).
