If you require Audio Visual (AV) system support for an event, a minimum of four weeks' notice will be required. All support requests must be submitted by filling in the form below. The EFM Events Team should complete this form on behalf of all external clients. For internal events, this form should be completed by the relevant university contact.
Before completing the form, please ensure that you do the following:
Refer to our guidance about the types and functionality of AV in different spaces
Check the room inventory to find a suitable space and book the room(s). Make sure that the room you have booked is appropriate for your requirements.
Book a room pre-check slot if you require one. If possible, this should take place during the week before the event (this will be subject to room availability).
Review the specialist options available on request (e.g. panel discussion microphones in lecture theatres). Some specialist support will incur setup and support charges.
Please be aware that the availability of any specialist setups must be checked through this process before confirming an event. Any other requests will need to be reviewed by ILS on an individual basis. Some requests will require the involvement of a third party AV company, and additional charges will apply.
Out of hours support is dependent on IT support staff being available to work overtime, which must be checked and confirmed in advance through this booking process.
