IT and Library Supported Classrooms: Moot Room instructions

Your guide to our classrooms and AV equipment

Introduction

The following instructions relate only to QA075 - Moot Room.

Desk positions

  • As this room was thought out to be a mooting room (which provides a setting of a court, where students act in the role of barristers, based on legal scenarios they are given beforehand), the layout of the desks at the front is to simulate a court.
  • As such, we have a Judge desk, a Witness desk, Prosecution, and Defence desks:
  • The big desk with the room PC and visualiser is the Judge desk.
  • The single desk is the Witness desk.
  • The double desk without a screen mounted to its front is the Prosecution desk.
  • The double desk with a screen mounted to its front is the Defence desk
