Wireless Lapel Microphones
We are re-introducing wireless lapel microphones in our teaching spaces with the approval of our Health & Safety Unit. Please ensure that you have washed/disinfected your hands before each use. Please do not use any anti-bacterial gel/sanitiser on the microphones as this will damage them.
Lapel microphones improve the quality of recordings, and therefore the transcripts of recorded content, which is important for all our students, particularly those who speak English as a second language or who have disabilities.
If a Lapel Mic is available in your teaching space, it will be situated in a microphone safe within the room. For assistance using the microphone safe, please refer to the support video at https://libguides.gre.ac.uk/supportedclassrooms/avhelp.
Gooseneck mic
Gooseneck mics are situated on the classroom podium.
